The best feeling as a painter for me is resolving  work. There is a point in my creative process where I feel I have exhausted an idea or painting, and just want to be done. Today I finished 8 new paintings for an October 3 - November 1, 2014 exhibit at Gallery 13 in Minneapolis, MN. The canvases have been kicking around my small studio for the last 3 months.  4 - 30" x 40", 4 - 24" x 24". It is such a releif to finally get them out of the studio and into the world. These eight new works will be combined with older works made last winter. I am very excited to see all the work exhibited together. Each painting is also framed in maple floater frames.

I also enjoy hitting the reset button in the studio, and relish the opportunity to clean and reorganize things, along with thinking about new work I would like to make in the future

Oh well hope to see people this coming Friday night in Minneapolis.
