There is always sweet spots in the creative process or when you are preparing for an exhibition. There is that point in which you put down the brush and paint and say "your done", well at least for a little time, maybe a mini vacation from the studio. I am in the middle of framing for my show in Nola in August, so it's nice to just think about framing and how things will look on the wall in the gallery. It's also nice to have clear picture of how you want things presented, it provides a great deal of closure, something that is not always prevalent in the creative process. Ok,.. back to another coat of spray paint and I am out of hanging wire..

Got accepted Three Rivers Art Festival, Covington La., for this coming November, looking forward to participating in a big two day Art Fair and the cooler temps that may be around this coming Fall.
Made it to the opening reception for 51st Annual Juried Artists' Exhibition, The Summer Show, at the St. Tammany Art Association. It had been awhile since I participated in a juried group show. Great turn out with a lot of quality pieces overall. Check out Covington sometime, it is quite a charming town. I included a couple pics from the opening.
